Limestone is called limestone for short. It is a carbonate rock with calcite as the main component. Sometimes it contains dolomite, clay minerals and clastic minerals. It has gray, grayish white, grayish black, yellow, light red, brownish red and other colors. The hardness is generally not high.

Limestone artificial sand is made of limestone field waste, waste slag, stone powder, etc., which are mechanically crushed, washed and screened. The limestone artificial sand processed according to the above process has the following advantages:

1. The particle size and other technical indicators of artificial sand can be controlled according to national standards and engineering quality requirements to meet engineering requirements.

Generally speaking, the production of limestone artificial sand *ly adopts three-stage crushing, namely coarse crushing, medium and fine crushing, and sand making:

1. Jaw crusher

The jaw crusher is not easy to clog when crushing wet materials and ores with high clay content. It is more suitable for processing sand and gravel aggregate raw materials. It is often used in the coarse crushing stage in domestic sand and gravel aggregate projects.

2. Impact crusher

The impact crusher has the characteristics of large crushing ratio and low energy consumption, which is more suitable for processing fragile materials. The product particle size of the impact crusher is more uniform. The impact crusher is often used in the second stage of crushing in domestic sand and gravel aggregate projects.

3. Vertical shaft impact crusher

Vertical shaft impact crusher has the advantages of small size, simple foundation, high crushing efficiency, large output and low maintenance. The various chamber types of vertical shaft crusher in different working conditions are suitable for fine crushing and ultra-fine crushing of * materials, taking into account the dual functions of shaping and sand making.

The "stone hitting stone" crushing method is suitable for materials with high abrasiveness above medium hardness, such as basalt. During the crushing process, the material ejected from the impeller impacts the material lining without direct contact with the metal components of the equipment, reducing iron consumption and thus reducing maintenance time. The finished product particle shape is good under the "stone hitting stone" working condition.

The "stone hitting iron" crushing method is suitable for materials with low abrasiveness below medium hardness, such as limestone. Under the "stone hitting iron" working condition, the crushing efficiency is relatively high.
